Our job is to meet your expectations, and version 8 delivers! You wanted to use Mixbus for the entire creation process, not just mixing. The Mixbus community was drawn together because of Mixbus's sound but we've received many requests for creative arrangement tools like those found in products like Ableton Live and Apple Logic. Mixbus32C v8 is a significant new advancement in Mixbus's evolution. Itching to crack a mix open in V9 now.Upgrade is $79 with your personal upgrade code if you own 32C V7 Got to admit I wasn't expecting version 9 to be here for a while - so a lovely surprise, despite the (modest!) hit to my monthly! I should add this is with using an HDMI - CAT5 extender, and I know others have issues with this, so I'm not unduly worried by it. I had a strange graphics issue when I switched resolution from the automatically chosen one to one slightly larger, where a block across the mixer turned green, but this disappeared when I re-set and set again the resolution - so no doubt a small bug that will get ironed out in a future fix. I haven't spent a lot of time with it yet but just wanted to pass on my thanks to the team. I'd agree with a comment about the send LEDs (or whatever they're called) - they really could be brighter. I'm certainly finding the graphics easier to read, EQ especially was always a bit dull and hard to read for me. I love the new comp/gate setup, and a quick test with a large drum kit session with added timbales proved how effective and easy it is to dial in the gates and clean up the mix, in minutes, with no additional plugins. I love the new cleaner mixer, easier on the eye. I skipped V8 because it had nothing for me. Wow! Congratulations to the team, what a great release!
